Meet the Founder + Q&A
Hi, I'm Liva - your beauthic talk girl. I've been immersed in the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. With experience working alongside top doctors and practitioners in aesthetics all around the world, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the field. I’m also passionate about addressing body dysmorphia—guiding people to love their bodies, embrace their uniqueness and recognise when to stop seeking changes. Curious about the latest in aesthetic innovations, whether from leading doctors, industry peers, or insights from my own experience?
My inspiration
What inspired you to create Beauthic Talk?
The beauty and aesthetics industry is growing rapidly, but this rise has brought serious challenges—scams, botched procedures, and a lack of regulation. Recent investigative reports, like ITV News' exposé on unregulated practices in the UK, confirmed what I had already observed: skilled practitioners are often lost in a sea of unethical training, and patients are left vulnerable to unsafe treatments. I created Beauthic Talk to offer a trustworthy platform where patients and practitioners can connect, learn, and thrive in a safe, ethical community.
My background
How does your background shape the mission of Beauthic Talk?
Having worked alongside leading doctors and practitioners around the world, I’ve seen both the transformative potential and the risks of the aesthetics industry. My deep understanding of the field, combined with my passion for promoting mental wellness and self-love, drives the mission of Beauthic Talk: to provide transparency, ethical practices, and a supportive space for both patients and practitioners.
Mental health & trust
Why is mental health, trust and body positivity so central to Beauthic Talk?
Body dysmorphia is a significant concern in the aesthetics space. Unrealistic beauty standards often push people to seek endless changes, sometimes with damaging results. I’ve experienced this firsthand when a doctor tried to convince me to undergo a treatment that I didn’t need, exploiting my insecurities. It was a wake-up call that highlighted the importance of ethical practices and informed decisions. At Beauthic Talk, we aim to guide individuals toward embracing their unique beauty while providing the tools and community to make thoughtful, balanced choices. By fostering discussions about mental wellness and offering support, we help people approach aesthetics with confidence and self-love.
