Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of beauthic.com, including the Beauthic Talk by LIVA blog, our general aesthetics content, and our Meditravel enquiry pages (together, the "Site"). By using the Site, submitting an enquiry, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are

The Site is operated by LIVA Digital Consulting Ltd.

Beauthic Talk by LIVA is the content and editorial platform operated through Beauthic.com.

2. What this Site is, and what it isn't

Beauthic Talk by LIVA is a content and marketing platform in the medical aesthetics space. The Site has three parts, and it matters which one you're on:

  • General content and blog. Educational and editorial articles about aesthetic treatments, trends, and related topics.

  • Aesthetics information pages. General information about treatments and providers, for awareness purposes.

  • Meditravel. An enquiry service connecting people interested in aesthetic treatment abroad with our travel partner in Korea.

None of these three sections make Beauthic a medical provider, a travel organiser, or a party to any treatment, trip, or booking. We explain exactly what we are, and are not, in the sections below, because this distinction is the most important thing in these Terms.

3. The Meditravel service: our exact role

If you submit an enquiry through Meditravel, here is precisely what happens and who is responsible for what:

  • We are not the surgeon or clinic. We do not perform, supervise, recommend on a clinical basis, or take any responsibility for any medical procedure, consultation, or treatment. All clinical decisions and outcomes are the sole responsibility of the treating clinic and doctor.

  • We are not the trip organiser. We do not plan, book, price, or deliver any travel, accommodation, or itinerary. That is arranged and delivered by our travel partner in Korea. Any contract for the trip is between you and that travel partner (and, separately, between you and the treating clinic), not with Beauthic.

  • We generate and pass on enquiries. Our function is to connect interested people with our travel partner and, where relevant, with vetted clinics. Submitting a Meditravel enquiry form expresses interest only. It is not a booking, a reservation, a purchase, or an agreement to pay anything, to us or to anyone else.

  • What "vetted" means. Where we describe a clinic, doctor, or partner as vetted or legitimate, this means we have reviewed publicly available information such as accreditation, licensing status, and reputation, as a good-faith due-diligence step. It is a screening exercise, not a guarantee, warranty, or certification of quality, safety, or outcome. We update this information periodically but cannot guarantee it is complete or current at every moment.

4. No medical or professional advice

Nothing on the Site, including blog content, treatment information pages, and any correspondence with us, constitutes medical, clinical, or professional advice. Content is provided for general information and awareness only. Always seek advice from a qualified, licensed medical professional before making any decision about a treatment or procedure, including one you learned about through the Site.

5. Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to keep content on the Site accurate and current, including information about partners, clinics, and treatments. However, medical practices, pricing, availability, and accreditation status can change, and information supplied by third parties (including clinics and our travel partner) is outside our direct control. We do not guarantee that any information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date at the time you read it, and we recommend you verify any material fact directly with the relevant provider before making a decision.

6. Age restriction

The Site and the services described on it are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Aesthetic treatment content and enquiry forms are not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit an enquiry or provide personal information through the Site.

7. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • provide false or misleading information in any enquiry form;

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems;

  • scrape, copy, or reproduce Site content at scale without our written permission;

  • post or submit, if commenting is enabled on the blog, any content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringes another person's rights.

We may remove content, restrict access, or take other reasonable steps in response to a breach of this section.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the Beauthic Talk by LIVA name and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit it without our prior written permission.

9. User-generated content

If the Site allows comments or submissions (for example, on blog posts), you retain ownership of what you post, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, moderate, and remove that content. You are solely responsible for anything you post, and it must not violate section 7 above.

10. Third-party links and partners

The Site may link to, or refer you to, third-party websites and partners, including our travel partner and treating clinics. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, actions, terms, or the quality or safety of any service they provide. Your dealings with any third party, including any booking, payment, or treatment, are governed entirely by that third party's own terms, and any dispute is between you and them.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from any medical treatment, clinical decision, or outcome, since these are the responsibility of the treating clinic and doctor, not Beauthic;

  • we are not liable for any loss, delay, cancellation, or other issue arising from travel arrangements, since these are the responsibility of our travel partner, not Beauthic;

  • we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or representations of any third party, including clinics and travel partners, beyond our own reasonable vetting process described in section 3;

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, or opportunity, arising from your use of the Site;

  • our total liability for any claim arising directly from our own acts (for example, a negligent misstatement in our vetting process) is limited to a reasonable amount reflecting the free, informational nature of the Site.

If you have a UK consumer statutory right that these Terms do not expressly mention, that right is not affected.

12. Privacy and data protection

Our collection and use of your personal data, including information submitted through enquiry forms, is described in our Privacy Policy, available at beauthic.com/privacy-policy. By submitting an enquiry, you also consent to relevant details being shared with the specific partner needed to respond to that enquiry, for example our Korean travel partner, as described in that policy.

If your enquiry includes information about a specific treatment, health condition, or physical concern, this may count as special category data under UK GDPR, which requires your explicit consent. Submitting an enquiry form that asks for this information, and ticking any consent box presented alongside it, is how you provide that consent.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or the law. The version in effect is the one posted on the Site at the time of your visit, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

Some information relating to health, medical history, physical characteristics or treatment may constitute special category data under the UK GDPR.

Where we process special category health data for the purpose of assessing suitability for a treatment personally provided by a practitioner associated with Beauthic, we rely on explicit consent where required.

Where an enquiry form collects health or other special category information, the relevant form will provide a specific consent mechanism explaining what information is being processed and why.

You should not provide health or other sensitive information through a general contact form unless the form specifically requests it.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to assess your suitability for the relevant treatment or provide the requested service where that processing is necessary.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

5. International data transfers

Where you submit a Meditravel enquiry, relevant personal data may be transferred to our travel partner in the Republic of Korea so that they can respond to your enquiry.

The UK has designated the Republic of Korea as providing an adequate level of protection for certain transfers of personal data under the UK's data protection adequacy regulations, which came into force on 19 December 2022.

Where the transfer falls within the scope of that adequacy decision, we rely on the adequacy decision as the transfer mechanism.

We only share information reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry.

We may also use service providers that process personal data outside the UK. Details of relevant international processing will be reflected in this Privacy Policy or otherwise made available where required.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, regulatory, professional, insurance or accounting requirements.

  • Request a copy of your personal data;

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide the information required by applicable data protection law.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, data-processing practices, technology, regulatory requirements or applicable law.
